LANDNEMAR

Landnemar journeys through a country of frozen earth, empty spaces, minimalist populations in minimalist scenery, reflecting on the human need to dominate nature, and approaching us like distant observers of the life of colonial people who found in surrender a life in peace that few of us believe possible.
The images of Landnemar show infinite, frozen or dry plains, without any protection. Roads seen by few appear after the thaw, with tracks from some vehicle already fossilised. Scenery populated by solitary and timid houses. All a visual shock in the form of snapshots, which for those accustomed to the large metropolises offers the opportunity to carry out an enigmatic and unique journey.
