Bernardo Villanueva Fernández is born in Castrelo de Miño, Ourense in 1970. He gets a degree in geography in 1993 in Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and for some time he works as a geographer and tv writer. At the end of the nineties he moves to Coruña and starts making photographs, writing poetry and drama, working in hotel management, selling irons and making polls. In 2000 he starts his way as a photographer: from social photography he goes to advertising and at the end of 2005 he gets into daily press as Chief of Photography in the sports diary DeporSport. Between May and July 2009 he becomes a teacher of Photography Techniques in the Escuela de Artes Pablo Picasso de A Coruña. In 2003 he gets published his poetry book "¿Se puede bailar aquí?" .
