Bernardo Villanueva Fernández was born in Castrelo de Miño, Ourense in 1970. He got a degree in geography in 1993 from the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela and for some time he worked as a geographer and tv writer. At the end of the nineties he moved to A Coruña and started taking photographs, writing poetry and drama, working in hotel management, selling irons and making polls. In 2000 he started his way as a photographer: from social photography he moved to advertising and at the end of 2005 he got into daily press as Chief of Photography in the sports diary DeporSport. Between May and July 2009 he was a teacher of Photography Techniques in the Escuela de Artes Pablo Picasso de A Coruña. In 2003 his poetry book "¿Se puede bailar aquí?" got published .
